Subst. the given x and y values:  6(-1)^4 * (3)^3
                                                         6      * 27 = 162

Note that you MUST do the exponentiation first.

Also note that your post would be much clearer if you'd please use " ^ " to denote exponentiation:      6x^4 * y^3
