The answer is square.

If a quadrilateral has congruent diagonals, it needs to have right angles.

Only rectangles and squares are eligible for this qualification.

Square

A square has all same sides and four right angles. Thus when we label each endpoint of the square a, b, c, and d and form two triangles, ABC and ABD, then we know side AC and BD are congruent by definition of congruent polygons. We can prove that the two triangles are congruent using SAS Theorem (Side-Angle-Side)
