Many European countries made colonies out of the different
lands in Africa. They then used all the
resources to accumulate wealth. Many Africans were either enslaved or were
treated as servants in their own land. For
many years Africans had to endure this and even when Europeans left Africa,
they still exert some influence in the continent.
