Total price=$500 Let cost of cooker be x Cost of oven = x-20 So cost of rice cooker= 5(x-20)+3x=500 5x-100+3x=500 8x-100=500 8x=500-100 8x=400 x=400\8 x=50 So price of cooker=$50
