We have to convert Gm/s to m/s.

As  [tex]1 \ Gm/s = 10^9 \ m/s[/tex]

Therefore the speed of light in vacuum,

[tex]c = 0.3 \ Gm/s = 0.3 \times 10^9 \ m/s \\\\ c= 3 \times 10^8 \ m/s[/tex]

Thus, the speed of light in m/s is [tex]3 \times 10^8 \ m/s[/tex]
