Solution-

Answer is No

Because if you inscribe a square in circle with 1.4 m diameter, then the square that you can cut will have maximum diagonal of 1.4 m

Let, if side of square= s

Then, s²+s²= 1.4²

      ⇒ 2s² = 1.4²

      ⇒ s² = 1.96/2 = 0.98

      ∴s = 0.98995 m

Which is just short of 1 m.

Therefore, no such square is possible.
