The point-slope form:

We have the points (-1, 3) and (2, -2). Substitute:

[tex]m=\dfrac{-2-3}{2-(-1)}=\dfrac{-5}{2+1}=-\dfrac{5}{3}\\\\y-3=-\dfrac{5}{3}(x-(-1))\\\\\boxed{y-3=-\dfrac{5}{3}(x+1)}[/tex]
