Option A is correct

value of x will cause the denominator of [tex]\frac{8x-2}{5x+1}[/tex] to be 0

To find value of x that make the denominator 0,

We set denominator =0  and solve for x

5x + 1 =0

Subtract 1 from both sides

5x + 1 - 1 = 0 - 1

5x = -1

Divide by 5 on both sides

[tex]\frac{5x}{5} =\frac{-1}{5}[/tex]

So [tex]x =\frac{-1}{5}[/tex]

Option A is correct
