Answer: American public opinion concerning the war in Vietnam from 1964 to 1973. Following an introduction and a discussion of methodological issues regarding wartime public opinion, we review the flow of opinion about Vietnam, both in the aggregate and for various demographically defined sub-groups. We measure support and opposition to the war using both a broad "mistake" question and more specific policy questions.
