PLEASE HELP!!!!! Explain how to solve an equation when the variable in the equation is being multiplied by a fraction

we can multiply the equation with the invers of that fraction

** this is just an example on how this works & may not be the actual equation you have**

1/2 • 3x = 3

multiply both sides by the inverse of the fraction ( 2/1, which is just 2)

3x = 6

then find x by dividing by 3

x = 2
