The x co-ordinate of the centroid is given by:

The y co-ordinate of the centroid is given by:

[tex]Y_{C.G}=\frac{\int ydA}{A}[/tex]

where

[tex]x^{}[/tex] is the x co-ordinate of a diffrential area [tex]dA[/tex]

and [tex]y^{}[/tex]  is the x co-ordinate of a diffrential area  [tex]dA[/tex]
