Answer: The two differences between a metal and a non-metal are as follows-

  1. Metals are used for the conduction of electricity, whereas non-metals are poor conductor of electricity.
  2. Metals can be deformed into thin wire-shapes, where as non metals are brittle in nature.
  3. Metals have a high melting point, whereas a non metal comparatively has a low melting point.
