Slope formula: y2-y1/x2-x1

We can fill in what we have.

= 8-(-2)/3-a

= 10/3-a

For the slope to be -10 the only number that can make the slop true is when we used 4.

= 10/3-4

= 10/-1

= -10

Hope This Helped! Good Luck!
