Star Trek is an inspirational work of art which people rarely appreciate. The modern generation (which I'm a part of lol) takes most things for granted. With out Star Trek, the model for a lot of items would be different, and we wouldn't be tolerant at all (not saying we are, but as a society we are more tolerant now than ever).
