This doesn’t really make sense, your fraction will be a negative number, but I’m guessing that you wrote it backward and its 1/1 - 3/5.
The common denominator changes to a 5.
The fractions now change to 5/5 - 3/5.
5/5 - 3/5= 2/5
Answer: 2/5.
