Answer:

A cell cannot just keep growing because the part of the inner portion of the cell grow quickly as compared to outer side of the cell i. e. cell membrane. So we can say that cell membrane is the limited factor which doesn't allow cell to grow bigger in size. The growth of organisms increases not because of cell size increases, it is due to the number of cell increase because of cell division.
