What are the ions in the ionic compound formed by potassium and sulfur?

Potassium can be found in group 1 so it will form an ion with +1 charge while sulfur will form an ion of -2 charge. Therefore, the ions formed are the potassium ions and the sulfide ions. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.
