K= -2

20-6+4*k-(2-2*k)=0

Pull out like factors

12 + 6k  =   6 • (k + 2)

Solve: 6 = 0 which ends that this equation has no solution because a non zero constant never equals zero

Solve: K+2 = 0

now substract 2 from both sides of the equation: K= -2
