Therefore, S. P. of 40 kg fruits = 40*60 = ₹2400

Gain = ₹ 600 (given)

Cost price (C. P.) = S. P. - Gain

= ₹2400 - ₹600

= C. P. /quantity of fruits

= 1800/40

= ₹45 per kg

Profit percent

= (Gain* 100)/C.P.

= (600*100)/1800

= 60000/1800

=33.33%
