In point slope form, required equation is given by (y - y1) = m(x - x1); where m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (4 + 1)/(8 - 2) = 5/6

Required equation is y + 1 = 5/6 (x - 2)

In standard form, 6y + 6 = 5x - 10 => 5x - 6y = 6 + 10 => 5x - 6y = 16
