I started with the left I did it like a rectangle 4×12=48
because both sides are like that 48×2=96 for the middle 12-9=3 I did that because I needed to know the sides of this new rectangle so now 3×6=18 now we need to add them together to get the area 48+96+18=162
It's been a while, since I've done this, I'm not completely sure
