Well they were overall weakened as they threw thousands of men away in a costly war and were defeated after the battle of eurymedon river they were no longer seen as a threat and only supported little pockets of resistance to cause discourse in the Greeks and overall the war just caused chaos in Persia and allowed for Alexander to conquer them later
