Answer:

1) Perimeter = 34 yards

If one of the width = 5 yards then the other width = 5 yards so 10 yards

34 yards - 10 yards = 24 yards divide by 2

Length = 12 yards

2) Perimeter = 24 m of fencing

Width = 7 m

2nd Width = 7 m

24 m - 14 m = 10 m divide by 2

Length = 5 m

3) The perimeter of a square is 12 feet

Note: All sides in a square is equal!

Side = 3 feet

4) The perimeter of a square pool is 30 feet

Note: All sides in a square is equal!

Side = 5 feet
