how to find the slope for (2,2) and (-1,2)

the slope is rise over run.

rise= y

run= x

(x,y)

so (2,2) the slope is 2 over 2

and for (-1,2) the slope is -1 over 2.

you run -1 (backwards since ite negative) and go up 2 steps.
