this would be represented by the function Y = -3x + 4 C:

just remember that your slope is your X value, and on a graph it is your rise over run. since -3 is your slope, you go down -3(your rise, you go down since it is negative) and over one. its a whole number instead of a fraction because -3/1 is simplified to -3. Your Y intercept is the added number in the end of the equation. Basically they are your values in the linear equation, which is Y = mx + b
