I need the definitions VERY simply explained to me of both latitude and longitude. It'd be really helpful! Will upvote, thank you! ^.^

Assuming you know they are both calculated in degrees, longitude is the distance from east and west from the equator(the meridian line), and latitude is north and south of the equator–towards the poles.
