Hello! Specific heat is the amount of heat that one gram of a substance must take in or lose for the temperature to change its temperature 1 degree Celsius. Therefore, high specific heat capacity means the substance needs a lot of energy to change temperature. One example of substance with high specific heat is water. Hope this helps! :)
