If f(x)=-4x^2-6x-1 and g(x)=-x^2-5x+3, find (f-g)(x).

Answer:

(f-g)(x)=f(x)-g(x)=-4x^2-6x-1 -(-x^2-5x+3,)

=-4x²-6x-1+x²+5x-3

=-4x²+x²-6x+5x-3-1

=-3x²-x-4
