Answer:

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

24cm = 2(7cm+w)

24cm =14cm+2w

24cm - 14cm = 2w

10cm=2w

10cm/2=w

5cm=width.

Answer:

the perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

length = 7cm

2(7+b) = 24

7+b = 24/2 = 12

b=12-7 = 5

width = 5cm
