If the graph is linear then constant of proportionality is represented by slope of line.

Since, graph shows a proportional relationship.

It means that y is directly proportional to x .

So, we get                 [tex]y=mx[/tex]

Where m is proportionality constant.

Since, graph is linear , Therefore, proportionality constant represent slope of line.
