The answer would be true because there was potential for ancient Egyptians to move from once social class to another, but it was difficult. To do so, an ancient Egyptian may have served the pharaoh, married someone of higher class, or moved to a higher ranking town or village. Usually though, a person would stay in the same class their whole lifetime.
