Answer:

Solution given:

g-¹(-2)=?

we have

g(x)=4-2x

let

g(x)=y

y=4-2x

Interchanging role of x and y

x=4-2y

2y=4-x

dividing both side by 2

2y/2=(4-x)/2

y=(4-x)/2

f-¹(x)=(4-x)/2

now

Substitute value -2 in place of x

f-¹(-2)=(4-(-2))/2=(4+2)/2=6/2=3

the value of g-¹(-2) is 3.
