Solve: The quantity 2 x minus 20 divided by 3 = 2x

the answer is
2 x minus 20 divided by 3 = 2x
equivalent of 

(2 x -20) / 3 = 2x for solving it, (2 x -20) = 2x . (3) is sufficient
 

so 2 x -20 = 6x    -20 = 6x - 2 x and  -20 = 4x so x = -5
