If you are talking about the slope of the line y = -3/4x-1 then the slope will be equal to -3/4.

if you are talking about the slope of the line that is perpendicular to the line listed above, then it will be the reciprocal of the slope of y = -3/4x-1. So the slope would be equal to 4/3.
