let's factorise :

  • [tex] {v}^{2} + 2v = 0[/tex]

  • [tex]v(v + 2) = 0[/tex]

now, there are two cases :

case 1 :

  • [tex]v = 0[/tex]

case 2 :

  • [tex]v + 2 = 0[/tex]

  • [tex]v = - 2[/tex]
