What are some good ideas for a science experiment/research?? For 8th graders??

I recommend a science project that could test wind. Cut up a few flaps on a paper, try to make a mini windmill out of straws and thin cardboard, and study the difference between how much force you give it, and the wind it produces to move the paper flaps.
