take two points  : (-4, 3), (3, 1)

[tex]\sf slope: \sf \dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]            where (x1, y1), (x2, y2)

Insert the following values

[tex]\hookrightarrow \sf \dfrac{1-3}{3-(-4)}[/tex]

[tex]\hookrightarrow \sf \dfrac{-2}{3+4}[/tex]

[tex]\hookrightarrow \sf -\dfrac{2}{7}[/tex]
