PS you cant leave out exponents when typing questions without the attached photo. multiplying by 2 is not the dame as a exponent of 2. Use ^2 to show that a number is to the power of 2.

Answer:

p(2) = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

substitute x = 2 into p(x)

p(2) = - 3(2 - 4)² + 14

      = - 3(- 2)² + 14

      = - 3(4) + 14

      = - 12 + 14

      = 2
