Irrational Numbers.

No fraction is equal to exactly that number. Similarly, the square root of two (√2) can be estimated as 1.4, but 1.4 * 1.4 does not equal 2 exactly. There is no fraction equaling any decimal which, multiplied by itself, equals two.
