Okay, Product means, a quantity obtained by multiplying quantities together, or from an analogous algebraic operation. Or Multiplying. So we now know that we need to multiply 5/12 by 3/8 so , 5 /12 * 3/8 so this would equal 15/96 now you want to simplify so 15/96 what number do they have in common, 3! so 15/96 divide 3 for the numerator and denominator to get 5/32 as the answer!
