Solution

Given that

[tex]\begin{gathered} f(x)=x^2 \\ \\ g(x)=x-3 \\ \\ \Rightarrow(f\circ g)(-5)=f(g(-5)) \\ \\ g(-5)=-5-3=-8 \\ \\ \Rightarrow f(g(-5))=f(-8) \\ \\ f(-8)=(-8)^2=64 \\ \\ \Rightarrow(f\circ g)(-5)=64 \end{gathered}[/tex]
