To find the midpoint, we will use the formula;

(Xm, Ym) = [ x₁+x₂ /2 , y₁+y₂ /2]

x₁=-1 y₁=-1 x₂=3 y₂=3

substitute the values into the formula

(Xm , Ym) = [ -1+3 /2 , -1+3 /2]

(Xm , Ym) = (1, 1)

The midpoint is : (1, 1)
