Romeo and Juliet, the title characters are the tragic heroes of Shakespeare's novel, Romeo and Juliet. The two are in love however come from families at war, the Capulet's and the Montegue's. This warring between families eventually leads to the death of both Romeo and Juliet, hence the tragic part.
