Kind of a trick question:) you don't need to know how far from the earth he is just use
F=ma
F=78kg*9.8m/s^2=764.4N
Or 171.8 lbs

If the astronaut's mass is 78 kg, then he weighs about 764 Newtons on Earth, and about 21 newtons when he's 5 Earth radiuses off the surface.
