What is the equation of the line with m=6 that goes through the point (1,4)

Remember the point slope formula... which is ----->  y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Now substitute the values we have into m, x1, and y1...

y - 4 = 6(x - 1)
y = 6x - 6 + 4
y = 6x -2  -----> there is your answer!
