Translation to the right means that it affects the x-coordinate. Since the x-coordinate is -4, shifting it right 5 means that it is now -4+5=1. Down 6 is shift in the y-axis. Since the y-coordinate is 9 and it shifts down 6, the new coordinate would be 9-6=3. So the overall coordinate of the translated point is (1,3) or A.
