A triangle has a base length of 14cm greater than its height . If the area of the triangle is 48cm^2, find the height of the triangle .

Area of triangle = base x height /2
48 = (a+14)a/2
a^2 +14a = 96
a^2 + 14a - 96 = 0
Solving for a = 5.04
