8,230. Look at the eight. Now look at the number BEHIND it. If the number is 4 or LOWER, then turn that number into a zero. If it is 5 or HIGHER, then turn the number behind it into the number that comes after. For example: 8,230. 2 is lower than 4, so the answer is 8,000. :-D
