Ben wants to buy 2 blue sweaters for $119 each and 3 brown sweaters for $44 each. how much will ben spend on the five sweaters?

ok .. so first ben wants 2 blue sweaters which cost $119 each...so now im going to multiply 2 * 119 cause each blue sweater cost 119 so 2* 119 = 238...so now we are going to multiply 3 brown sweaters with 44 (the amount) so 3*44 = 132 then we grab 238 and 132 and add... 238+132 = 370 so he exactly will spend 370 on all 5 sweaters ..hoped I helped :)
