We can narrow this question down by eliminating B and C, since the constant 2 must be a positive number in order to multiply to 4. That leaves A and D.
A) 2x^2 - 5x + 2
(3x^2 + 2) (2x^2 - 5x + 2)  Check by multiplying
= 6x4 - 15x3  + 6x2 + 2x2 - 10x + 4
We can already see that this is incorrect, since we are subtracting 15x3

D) 2x2 + 5x + 2
(3x2 + 2) (2x2 + 5x + 2)   Check by multiplying
6x4 + 15x3 + 6x3 + 4x3 + 10x + 4
6x4 + 15x3 + 10x3 + 4        This is our original term.
The answer is D
